UMB Partnership with University of Haifa Going Strong

In 2013, UMB President Dr. Jay Perman, accompanied former Gov. Martin O’Malley on a trip to Israel. It was Dr. Perman’s first trip to the country.
At an October 29 gathering, Dr. Perman explained that seeds planted on that journey would come to form a robust partnership between UMB and the University of Haifa. The event was hosted by the hosted by the Center for Global Engagement; the Office of Philanthropy; Leonard Attman, Board of Visitors of the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center; Abba Poliakoff, School of Medicine Board of Visitors; and Steven Dubin and Alvin Katz, UMB Foundation Board of Trustees.
