    How DocuSign Works

    1. Choose your document. Select the document that needs to be signed.
    2. Add recipients. Enter the people who need to review or sign the document.
    3. Add required fields. Indicate where recipients should sign and add any other information, such as a name, organization, or phone number.
    4. Send the document. Recipients receive an email inviting them to review and sign.
    5. Complete the signature. Recipients follow the prompts to add their signature and complete any required fields.
    6. Receive the completed document. Once signing is complete, participants are notified and the document is stored electronically for future access.
    7. Track your documents. Visit your DocuSign account to check document status and access completed documents.

DocuSign makes it easier to manage electronic signatures and keep documents organized and accessible.

As a UMB DocuSign user, you can download a PDF of a completed document from your completion notification email:

    1. Open the DocuSign completion notification email.
    2. Select View Completed Document(s).
    3. Sign in to DocuSign using your UMB credentials.
    4. Once the completed document opens in your browser, follow the Download or Print Documents instructions to save a PDF copy.
