UMB ELEVATE helps departments and units identify opportunities to improve how work gets done, make better use of time and resources, and simplify processes. The initiative provides coaching, facilitation, and practical tools to help teams:
- Add value at every step of their work
- Streamline processes that have grown complex or redundant over time
- Eliminate activities that no longer serve faculty, staff, or the communities we support
- Measure outcomes to confirm that improvements are working and sustainable
Rather than imposing changes from the top down, UMB ELEVATE is a grassroots-led initiative. Schools and units identify what needs to improve, while UMB ELEVATE provides the structure and support to help them make those improvements.
