We have updated all UMB specifications under Division 1: General Requirements. The new specifications match standard CSI specification name and numbering conventions and are edited to reflect current requirements for working with UMB. We coordinated these specification sections with our standard General Conditions, Maryland State requirements, and UMB internal processes and procedures and removed outdated and incorrect references.
For new projects starting on 9/29/2026, use the new Division 1 specifications in their entirety. The previous versions will be removed from our website. Coordinate with your Project Manager to verify required project specific edits.
